The tour will begin with a scenic drive via the coastal road from Athens towards the Corinth Canal. It will take about an hour to get to Corinth were you shall briefly stop to view it and stretch your legs before ing the Peloponnese peninsula. We will cross the bridge that connects the mainland with the Peloponnese, crossing over the narrow canal. After the brief stop the tour continues towards Mycenae, one of the most important cities of ancient Greece. You will walk under the famous Lion gate up to the Mycenaean acropolis and the Palace. Our tour will continue with us driving through the plains of Argos towards the city of Nafplion. This was the first capital of modern Greece and boasts an impressive Venetian fortress the ‘Palamidi’. Instead of walking up the thousand steps to the fortress, drive up and enjoy the view of Nafplio and the Gulf of Argolis. From here you will be able to also see the island of Bourtzi, on top of which stands a fortified castle which seems to be afloat in the middle of the bay of Nafplion.
